  • planned giving

There are many ways to invest in a Great Future.

Check out the options below to explore gift planning options that meet your needs and goals:

    • Bequest
    • Charitable Remainder Trust
    • Charitable Lead Trust
    • Life Insurance
    • Retirement Plan Assets

Please let us know if BGCGBC has already been named as a beneficiary in your will or estate plans, so that we can properly thank you and recognize you in our esteemed Chapatcha Lifetime Giving Society, which celebrates our generous donors committed to providing long-term charitable support.

  • stocks/securities

When you contribute an appreciated security that you have owned for more than one year to the BGCGBC, you will receive a charitable income tax deduction for its full market value, and you will avoid any capital gains tax on the increase in value of the stock since you purchased it.

Using assets other than cash also allows for more flexibility when planning a gift. For example, if you or your client aren’t ready to give up these assets during lifetime, a gift of securities through a will or living trust allows for the flexibility for the donor to change their minds at any time and continue to receive dividends and participate in shareholder votes; the securities are still the property of the owner if needed for other expenses.

Please contact us to transfer appreciated stock/securities.

  • gifts of property

You can donate your unwanted furniture, supplies, and even your car to the Boys & Girls Club of Glasgow-Barren County. By donating unwanted items, your items can be put towards a good cause and you can receive a receipt entitling you to a tax deduction.

We frequently accept donations of other items for use in our Clubhouse for members. For any questions, contact us at the Club.
