From academic support to sports and recreation, we offer a wide range of activities that promote positive youth development. Our staff members are trained to provide mentorship and guidance, and we work closely with parents and families to ensure that each child receives the support they need to succeed.

Where Great Futures began

The Boys & Girls Club of Glasgow-Barren County opened its doors on September 14, 2006, founded by Ruell Houchens under the charter of the BGC of Bowling Green. The Club’s first location was at the Bunche Community Center, marking the beginning of our mission to serve local youth.

Fulfilling a growing need

Boys & Girls Club of Glasgow-Barren County received its own independent charter from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA). This milestone unlocked new resources, including expanded programs and grant opportunities, allowing the Club to serve the community more effectively on its own terms.

An extrodinary leap

Ambassador Kelly Craft made a transformative $2 million donation, providing the Boys & Girls Club of Glasgow-Barren County with its own permanent campus. This investment allows us to expand our reach and enhance our impact in the community.

A vision for tommorow

The Craft Innovation Campus in 2023, featuring program expansions, including a fabrication lab and music studio. The next step is the construction of a community recreational center, featuring two basketball courts and a community gard. This growth has earned national recognition for our impact, all made possible by those investing in our youth!
